Malena Smither, President
Malena Smither began working for a large staffing service in Houston, Texas in 1968, following a short bout as a teacher of physically challenged children. After 16 years in the industry, she moved to Chapel Hill and founded Smither & Associates, Inc., in 1983. She maintains a small, highly professional staff of caring associates who share her philosophy of service to clients, individual job seekers and the community at large. She is a long time member of many local civic organizations, including the Chapel Hill Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she is a painter and a breeder of champion Boxers.
