Malena Smither, President
Malena Smither has been in the personnel staffing industry many years. She started her career in Houston, Texas in 1968 after a short bout as a teacher of physically challenged children. After spending a number of years in the personnel industry in Texas, she moved to Chapel Hill and founded Smither & Associates, Inc. in 1983. She maintains a small, highly professional staff of caring associates who share her philosophy of service to client, individual job seeker and community.
Anita Badrock, Vice-President/Staffing Manager
Anita brings to Smither an intuitive talent for assisting client and candidate with major career decisions. Her successful background in staffing, recruiting and management in the service arena made her move to Smither a very natural one. Her careful, selective screening and recruitment has proven highly successful and garnered a following of many satisfied clients and candidates throughout the years. She is also very involved in a number of community service organizations and very active in both the Chapel Hill and Durham Chambers of Commerce.
